Privacy Policy

Augustin Villetard ("we," "us," or "our") operates Poop Tracker - PooNote (the "App"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

Information handled on your device

The App does not require an account. Raw bowel entries, symptom selections, notes, and onboarding answers remain on your device. We do not receive them, and they are never included in analytics.

If you choose to export information, the App shares only the information you choose with the destination you select. Export is initiated by you; it is not sent automatically to us or to a clinician.

Service providers

The App currently uses Apple to process in-app subscription purchases, payment information, and subscription management. We do not receive or store payment card details. RevenueCat processes purchase, subscription, and entitlement information to validate purchases and restore subscription access. Superwall presents subscription paywalls and processes related paywall interactions and purchase presentation. Factory Analytics receives a random analytics-only installation identifier, app locale, a country code derived by Cloudflare, and bounded event codes for app lifecycle, onboarding, paywalls, purchases, restores, and feature use. Cloudflare does not store your raw IP address for this service. Our email provider processes the information you send when you contact support.

These providers process the limited technical and purchase-related information needed for their services, subject to their own privacy policies. Bowel entries, symptom selections, notes, onboarding answers, stool values, and exported diary content are not sent to Apple, RevenueCat, Superwall, Factory Analytics, or Cloudflare by the App. We do not sell personal information.

How information is used

Purchase, entitlement, paywall, support, and bounded product-interaction information is used to operate the App, present and manage subscriptions, restore access, measure onboarding and feature performance, and respond to support requests. Analytics never includes bowel entries, symptoms, notes, stool values, exported diary content, or free-text answers.

Retention

Information stored only on your device remains there until you remove it or delete the App. Factory Analytics retains raw events for 14 days and installation-level cohort data for up to 45 days; longer-lived aggregate metrics do not contain installation identifiers. Other provider-held purchase, entitlement, paywall, and support information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes or as required by law.

Your rights

For information we or our vendors hold about you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection to processing where applicable, including under the GDPR. You may also complain to a competent supervisory authority. To exercise these rights or ask a privacy question, contact Augustin Villetard at augustin.dev@tutamail.com. We may need information to verify a request.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will appear here and in the App with a revised date.
